PROGRAMS

HFS EMPOWERMENT NETWORK PROGRAMS AND SERVICES

The programs of HFS are grouped into four primary initiatives supported by a strong administrative branch. Each of the four groups, while having a specific set of objectives and a targeted client base, operate both independently and in concert with each other to maximize service delivery. The Network's primary initiatives are described below.

C.H.A.N.G.E.

Project C.H.A.N.G.E (specifically designed for the incarcerated)
This program introduces a new design in rehabilitation that takes risk factors into consideration.
As inmates navigate through this program, they are introduced to six steps to help them transform these risks into opportunities for change.

HFS Wellness Service and Empowerment Center (WSEC)

Goal: Support Community Wellness through the provision of counseling, referral and practical life management supportive services delivered in a safe and judgement-free environment.

Services Offered:
Education and Employment Support including job search and application assistance, resume preparation, effective interviewing workshops, technology usage training, entrepreneurship support and professional development.

Wellness Management through assessment and counseling, mental health support referrals, short-term mental health support and referrals for treatment, life management groups and seminars.

Our program promotes self-realization through a variety of individual, group and community services that assist participants to identify, embrace and overcome the challenges in their lives.

C.A.R.E.

• CARING ARMS REACHING EVERYONE

HFS has historically been on the ground to partner with agencies and community organizations following distressing events. We respond in practical ways to bring immediate relief in times of disaster and devastation. Additionally, we offer concern and global support through the following programs:

Shelter Outreach
Disaster Relief
HFS provides services to disaster victims and have responded to disasters in the United States, Haiti, Dominica, St. Vincent, Barbados, Jamaica and Grenada.

LIFE CENTER

The Life Center embodies the heart of HFS's faith-based origins and is committed to helping people grow spiritually and connect with God and each other. We offer regular and seasonal opportunities for gathering as a community.

Our weekly opportunities for spiritual enrichment include but are not limited to:
Grow in the Word (Facebook live and YouTube Thursdays at 7pm)

HFS Global Prayer Line(we can place the FCC (free conference call app) so people can download with the call in # 351 888-7202 Thursdays at 8pm.
